Comrex acquired marketing and support of the TS612 system from ClearOne (Gentner) in September, 2002, and we began shipping units in October of that year. The last units were shipped in 2005, following our introduction of the Comrex STAC studio telephone system.
In the interim, we have exhausted much of our supply of boards originally supplied by ClearOne. Many of the parts, particularly in the older units, are now obsolete and difficult to obtain. In an effort to protect the interests of our customers that purchased TS612 systems from Comrex, we must begin to protect our stock levels of critical parts and boards.
Effective January 4, 2010, Comrex will repair only TS612 mainframes or Control Surfaces that were sold by Comrex. We have record of the serial numbers involved, and can advise over the telephone or by email whether the equipment falls in the 2002-2005 window.
We will no longer support or repair any custom TS612 systems, as those were all sold before Comrex took over the line, and we have limited information on them.
We will honor power supply and keypad requests for all TS612 mainframes and Control Surfaces until our stock is depleted. Note that the keypad price is now $125.00. Parts requests will be filled based on stock for Comrex-sold TS612 equipment only.
We will continue to offer phone and email support on all TS612’s except for custom systems and console inserts.
