Connect Modem 2 for Audio Codecs

The Comrex Connect Modem 2 is unlocked and have been carrier approved and PTCRB certified to meet all necessary regulations.

Carrier Information

The Connect Modem 2 for Comrex IP audio codecs is available in 2 models: 

• US (AT&T(FirstNet), Verizon, T-Mobile, Southern LINC)
• International (for use outside the United States)

Compatibility

Connect Modems are compatible with ACCESS 2USB*, ACCESS NX, ACCESS Rack, ACCESS NX Rack, ACCESS MultiRack, and Bric-Link III.

When used in HotSwap mode, a Connect Modem can be utilized as a backup secondary network for BRIC-Link III. Connect Modem 2 cannot be used as a primary network on BRIC-Link III(currently incompatible with Bric-Link II)

FW 5.2-p2 or higher is required to use the  Connect Modem 2 with ACCESS 2USB, ACCESS NX Portable, ACCESS Rack, ACCESS NX Rack, ACCESS MultiRack, and BRIC-Link III. 

Please note that ACCESS Portable Classic is not able to use the new US Connect Modem 2. In addition, BRIC-Link Classic & Bric-Link II are not able to use a Connect Modem 2 in HotSwap mode due to hardware limitations.

Mounting Bracket Details

For ACCESS NX Portable Only –

• Bracket can be used as Single or Dual Mount

Studio units (ACCESS Rack, ACCESS NX Rack, ACCESS MultiRack, and BRIC-Link III) don’t require any mounting hardware – simply plug your Connect Modem directly into the USB port of your codec.
