ACCESS NX Rack has been updated to incorporate the technical advances from the last decade. The biggest development? ACCESS NX Rack includes AES67 compatibility (along with AES3 or analog audio I/O).
ACCESS NX Rack’s AES67 has been tested to be compatible with all major AoIP systems. So however your studio is configured, ACCESS NX Rack is sure to fit in.

ACCESS NX Rack can connect to Wi-Fi and 4G modems, and supports a wide arrange of connection protocols and audio encoders. It’s driven via a new HTML5-based web user interface that is easy to use.
ACCESS NX Rack is also compatible with all Comrex IP audio codecs (all current and retired models of ACCESS and BRIC-Link), as well as the Comrex FieldTap smartphone app!
No need to replace your other codecs, ACCESS NX Rack works with whatever you already own. It can even interface with other codec manufacturers’ equipment if they are SIP compatible.
ACCESS NX Rack comes with the ability to use our Switchboard Traversal Server included in the purchase of a unit. Switchboard was created to make it easier for Comrex IP codecs to find and connect to each other by bypassing common networking snags through the use of a private server we maintain.
Our customers who use Switchboard find that it makes connecting over unfamiliar networks simple, which can make a big difference on a stressful broadcast day.
ACCESS NX Rack is built around our proprietary CrossLock Technology, the industry’s best reliability layer. CrossLock features a proprietary suite of tools that solidify connections over IP networks, including forward error correction, ARQ, and an adaptive management engine. This advanced network management tool is designed to help you take advantage of whatever bandwidth is available by letting you use multiple IP networks simultaneously.
ACCESS NX Rack also includes HotSwap, which allows users to designate a wireless network as a backup that will only engage when the primary network has failed. This is perfect for mission-critical dedicated links like STLs.
