Besides the Comrex Connect modems, the following are supported in LiveShot and ACCESS firmware. This list has been reduced to describe mostly LTE capable modems. Legacy support should continue for most modems previously supported.
These modems have been tested on ACCESS 4.0p5 and higher, and LiveShot 1.4.1p2 and higher:
The Verizon USB730L is the only current modem available from Verizon. We do NOT recommend using this modem.
Comrex recommends our Comrex Connect Modem for use with Verizon networks.
The following modems are compatible but no longer sold through Verizon.
Although not specifically listed, some other modems are supported as Ethernet devices only. This means they will appear to the codec as a simple Ethernet port, and should be pre-configured to auto-connect. Unfortunately, when using these modems, no connect status or signal strength info is available by the network manager within the user interface. It may be possible to see modem status on ACCESS by opening the integrated web browser and inputting the UI address of the modem, which is different for different models. It’s usually not possible to use more than one type of this modem simultaneously.
